The Environmental Service Providers Association (ESPA) was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee in 2001 to serve as an advocacy body on environmental sanitation. It is an association of private waste companies handling waste of various categories for Metropolitan/Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs), in a public private-partnership (PPP) agreement.
