The Environmental Service Providers Association (ESPA) has supported the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources to undertake a clean-up exercise as part of the 2020 Civil Service week-long celebration in Accra.
The clean-up was undertaken around the Ministerial enclave and its environs on 24th September 2020.

 
Some ESPA members who participated in the exercise included Zoomlion, Jekora and staff of the ESPA Secretariat. Also present were informal tricycle and Borla taxi operators.
ESPA members provided logistics including compactors, street cleaner trucks, wheelbarrows, rakes, 240-litre bins, hand gloves, wellington boots, motorized tricycles and brooms among others to support the exercise.
 
The exercise involved de-silting of choked gutters and the clearing of rubbish around Government’s Business Districts to rid the area of filth.
