The Environmental Service Providers Association (ESPA) participated in the launch of World Vision Ghana School Sanitation solution challenge.
The Event took place on 19th of September, 2019 at the World Vision Head Office.
The initiative is a contest that seeks to inspire pupils in basic and junior high schools across the country to identify major sanitation problems in their respective communities and the country at large while write an open letters to duty bearers (Government of Ghana, Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources). Also, the letters will suggest practical possible solutions to address the identified challenge.
The Environmental Service Providers Association (ESPA) sees this initiative as laudable and is open for further collaboration with the World Vision International. Stakeholders present included Ministry for Sanitation and Water Resources (MSWR), CONIWAS, GAMA, GES and pupils from some selected schools in the Eastern Region participated in the maiden event
